When my older brother was in middle school my parents got him a typewriter for christmas. I was in 3rd or 4th grade at the time so I am rocking out Christmas morning with the GI Joe hovercraft and M1 Abrams tank and they are making his arse type shite to practice because "in high school you'll have to type all of your papers". He was pissed. I felt bad for him, then I remembered the times he had been an a-hole to me because he was bigger than me and I went back to playing with my toys. Made sure I thanked my mom and dad big time for all of my cool stuff right in front of him while he clack-clacked away at that typewriter.

*pre-apology for the book*

When I was around 11 and my brother around 8 my aunt(moms sister) fresh off her trip to a Kid Rock concert thought it would be a good idea to buy my brother and I Kid Rock concert Ts for Christmas. She gave them to us at our grandparents on Christmas Eve and made us go in a back room so we can open them out of sight of the other adults.

First of all, they were HUGE, I think both were adult XLs. Second, even at a young age both my brother and I recognized right away that these probably weren’t 8 & 11 year old appropriate. Why? My brother’s shirt was black with a cartoon.ish Kid Rock, a stripper silhouette, and said “Pimp of the Nation”.

Mine? Oh mine had a cartoonish Kid Rock dressed up like the old Uncle Sam posters, except instead of “I want you for the US Army” it said “I Want My Balls in Your Mouth”.

When we returned home and were sorting through Christmas gifts our parents took them and tossed them out, not that we really cared. I don’t think we even knew who Kid Rock was at the time.

Fast forward and my aunt ended up passing away from cancer about 10 years ago and while sharing some memories with family I told the story of the shirts that had long since been forgotten, everyone agreed that it was obsurd at the time but very much something my aunt would have done.

In a weird sort of homage to my aunt I would hit the net every few months searching high and low for those shirts to no avail until January of last year, I stumbled upon the shirt my brother was given and bought it. I’ve yet to find the shirt I was given but haven’t given up hope. If anyone can track one down id gladly pay a finders fee.

My brother has agreed to wear it Christmas Eve this year and we would love to eventually find the other one. My mom is the only one left in her family, I think she’ll appreciate my weird tribute.

A farmers almanac when I was 9-10 from my uncle.

No one in our family were farmers and I'm not sure what I was supposed to do with it... Look up the sunrise and sunset time everyday?

Used to get tube socks every year from my aunt .

I once got a badass box guitar. I must have been 8 yrs. old. About an hour later our cousins arrived including my uncles new 500 pound wife and his brand new 6'5'' 300 pound retarded 10 year old step son. Well, bigfoot started begging me to play with the guitar. My mother makes me let him play wit it . Five minutes later the retarded Yeti found a way to fall on top if it smashing it to fire wood.

When I was 8 or 9 one of my aunts got me a pair of pants that I'm pretty sure if I still had them, they'd still be too big. 25 years later.

None. The worst presents I've ever got were for my birthday celebration later that night.

I think I was like 13 or 14 and my grandmother gave me a shirt with cowboys and indians on it. I said thank you and put the shirt into the closet and did not find it again until I moved out for college

I asked for a red ranger power ranger outfit and got some knock off ranger outfit that wasn’t a power ranger at all.

I got several other presents and still feel like a brat to this day for crying.
