Two incidents, one with death ,one without.
Was an LSU student in the 70s and coming back from Chucks in Addis(big draft mugs) headed north on La. 1 when a car several vehicles in front of us ran off the road to the right and hit an old parked truck hauling wrecked cars. We saw it happen and the several cars in front of us stopped. We got out and started walking towards the wreck and a guy who was walking back to his vehicle told me to watch out for the head. The guys head had been severed clean off and it looked like he was buried in the road up to his nose.
I was scouting some woods near Greensburg owned by a friend of mine to see if there was enough deer sign to try hunting it. My friend and I split up and I walked up on a large limb that had grown from the tree on the other side over a stream about 40 feet wide. I then noticed a hawk on the middle of the limb that didn’t fly away when I walked up to the limb . The limb was 8 or 9 feet above the ground on my side so I couldn’t see on top of the limb. I yelled for my buddy and when he came over I boosted him up to the limb and he scooted over to the hawk. This is where it gets bizarre . Someone had nailed the hawks foot to the limb with a horseshoe nail and left a dead squirrel for it to eat. My friend cut the mangled leg off and it flopped into the water and over to the other bank. I was spooked as this seemed like witchcraft or voodoo stuff and we didn’t bring guns. We split up again and I was looking for deer sign and witches. I then flushed a large number of turkeys out of an oak tree (seemed like 20 or 30) which made an unbelievable racket and I was pretty sure the evil forces had gotten me. I never had much of a vertical leap but I’m sure I had my personal best that day! Never have figured out what that was about. I never went back in those woods without a gun.

Depends on how you define "wildest thing" I suppose. Could be...
- The Stanley Cup in my swimming pool
- A wild panther cat from less than 25 feet away (It had been sunning itself on the slab of a recently razed plantation which I was exploring. It looked to me like a pile of leaves until it got up and stared at me )
- Watched the tornado that wrecked downtown Fort Worth from a tall building less than a mile away.

Two people having sex in the woods near the shoulder of the road for all to see on I-10 somewhere between Pensacola and Tallahassee.
My friend, who was driving, was like, “You didn’t see that.”
I was like, “Bruh, I know what I saw.”

When I was in middle school, saw two kids on a bike, one riding, one on the handlebars, ride onto Cleary Ave. right in front of a car. One on handlebars went head-first into the windshield and then when the girl slammed the breaks he flew a good ways and landed in his head. I'm pretty sure he died.
I was riding my bike along Buffalo Bayou in Houston and went on the more remote East Side of Downtown. No other people and a homeless camp nearby.
Was riding pretty fast and started to make a bend downhill to pass into a tunnel under a train tressel. As I made the turn, I saw a white methhead doggystyling a black chick.
I tried to hit the brakes but just started skidding. Dude stopped banging and took off running toward me. I hopped off the bike and turned it around and had to run it back up the incline before I jumped back on and took off with him still in pursuit. Freaked me out because there was NO one out there and if he had caught me, who knows what kind of AIDs he could have gotten on me in a fight.

I saw a big enclosed trailer filled with fireworks catch on fire on the shoulder of I-12. Fireworks shooting everywhere. It was the craziest thing ever.

Accident on the causeway ten years ago at night, so before all improvements. It was pitch black. All the sudden the car in front of me slams on its breaks, smashes into something and flips three times. Somehow it managed to land on its roof on the bridge. There was a stalled truck on the bridge in the right lane with no lights on whatsoever. Sat there for several hours.
Also saw some live drone strikes while at a FOB in Afghanistan.

Buddy of mine and I are on hwy 90 headed toward Franklin in his brand new Honda prelude. We get passed at a red light by this old white van going crazy fast. It’s 2am we are headed to an after hours bar…buddy gets the prelude up to 110 mph…
See cop lights up ahead…when we reach them white van is on its side there is a body obviously dead on road. Freaked us out.
Watched one guy keep taunting another guy (both drunk/high)near Jackson square in NO….second guy doesn’t want to fight, first guy keeps pushing him. First guy slaps him upside the head, second has had enough…reaches down grabs a bottle and breaks it on a lamp post just like in the movies…first guy turns away, second stabbed him in the neck…both of them run away. I was a mgr at a restaurant so I called the cops…they never came. Nothing in the news about it.
Wife and I were at a Rangers game and watched left fielder (Hamilton) throw a foul ball toward a tall man and his son. Man slips over the rail and falls but you can’t see it behind the fence. Later, we were talking to an usher and asked if that guy was ok, he said he broke both his arms but he should be ok. On the ride home, postgame announced the man died on the way to the hospital…delayed head injury or something. Really sad story…they put up a statue for him outside the park.

Driving on I-20 East between Shreveport and Ruston. About to the Ada/Taylor exit and its mostly just pine trees all around. About 100 yards in front of me a fully naked man looking to be in his 50s or 60s, very clean cut, comes strolling out of the woods towards the road. No parked cars or anything near us, just moving traffic. He wasn't acting erratically, just making his way forward. For some reason, I honked and then just drove away stunned watching him in the rearview head across the interstate. No explanation.

Had two at Red Dress Run circa 2009. First saw a drunk dude scale the building on Fulton St and end up on top of one of the awnings. He then decided to jump Spider-Man style onto a tree, missed and fell about 12’. It went thud. Surprisingly not dead. A few mins later, dude and his gf finished watching the spectacle, then proceeds to push her down to her knees, she goes under the dress and starts giving him the old MBJ right there outside of Ernst Cafe.
And this was all before 10am.

Surely by 6 pages the Kick 6 has been mentioned by someone who was there.

I remember that, he was a drunk fireman, there were a couple of drunk fireman falls that year, they put up the little wire railing around the perimeter of the stands because of that

Well, this thread is depressing as frick.
No shite.
I was hoping for some good nudity and sex stories. Not morbid, graphic, injury/death stories.
At 7 years old I watched a hot air balloon "deflate" (I guess that's how you would describe it) at a couple thousand feet up at a crowded hot air balloon show. The pilot of the basket just helplessly plummeted to the ground while the crowd watched. He sadly died.
Actually, you can see it here (nothing graphic):

I was visiting my parents several years ago and driving to their house late. I was stopped at an intersection behind a jeep. Light turns green and then all of a sudden the jeep is facing me and I’m looking at its headlights.
Turns out a semi ran the light at full speed, clipped the jeep, and turned it a perfect 180.
I got out and went to the driver’s side of the jeep. No window, no driver. I looked around and found him leaning against the traffic light pole.
I asked him if he was okay and he said “man, I’ve been drinking,” but he otherwise seemed fine. They took him to the hospital anyway.
