the admins have these training sessions
in reality they're just big gay orgies. I mean dicks and arse EVERYWHERE.
at first TD only had so many admins so they had to keep fricking and sucking each other.
As time passed and the hired more and more admins.
One of the admins, cant say his name but it rhymes with dummy.Wanted to try someone new and came up with a signal to let the faceless nameless person attached to the dick that ,he wanted someone else.

So he came up with the phrase, "move it along Nancy"
but with a dick in his mouth it sounded like something in German

so Germana became the catch-all phrase for

"we've done this before"

So you told us your wet dream to explain what Germans mean?

It's used elsewhere. My wife is on TexAgs and it's used there, too.

but why is it always said after a repost? It has nothing to do with the reference from the movie

As others have said, when something considered "old news" was posted it was met with other "breaking stories" such as man lands on the moon, US declares independence, Gutenberg invent printing press and "Japs Bomb Pearl Harbor"

One day someone referenced the movie quote as a way to make the joke funnier.

It doesn't change the fact that it was on offtopic.com long before TD was born.

The difference is that other places find such things funny for about 4 days and move on. People who keep using it are run off.

Above is the best explanation I've ever heard ..... better than my Urban Dictionary post, which used to be #1, but is now "Germans" definition #13:

Germans, Urban Dictionary

BTW, the UD post was 2009 -- a few years after Germans was already regularly used on the OT.

If you click the link, throw an Old Man a few upvotes.

Yep. It evolved on TOS before they became a pay site.

"Germans" began on Tigerroar.com in the late 1990s. It was something that just caught on and has been used ever since. When that board became a pay site, people who left brought it over here.

Heh - it was in use on another LSU board before Tigerdroppings existed.

Whenever there's a repost people say Germans, what's the story behind that? I'm assuming something local to TD because I haven't seen it on other forums.

Basically when you get pissed enough at a group, place, or thing, that you want to just round them all up and kind of rid the earth of them, then that kinda is what the saying, "germans" mean.

Every year or so. Count on this thread.

It used to be the fricking ring tones and the LSU related desktop background threads.

Outside of sports stuff td isn't really the front lines. Posters from here get shite off of Reddit or 4chan or whatever other thing is more widespread and bring it here.

- I don't post or view Reddit outside of when a friend or anybody posts a specific interesting link. Only been on 4chan for the fappening (best ever internet sunday / Father's Day)

Did the Japanese go and sit down and have dinner with Pearl Harbor before they bombed 'em?
