Clanton Street in Shreveport got so bad that the mailman refused to deliver there after he was caught in a hail of gunfire between feuding families. He was later mauled by a pit bull. Cops were called constantly for shots, fights, etc.

It made national news.

I was driving in an unfamiliar area one morning after dropping off some recycling when I saw the sign for Clanton Street. Scared the shite out of me at 7 a.m.

Any of the streets that run through north Baton Rouge right by the interstate.

Basically most of everything west of foster to scenic, north of Florida boulevard

I got lost in the president streets area after the LSU-Bama game last time they played in BR because I couldnt remember where I parked. Walked around for an hour to eventually find my truck. Feel like I’m lucky to be alive

There is a semi moratorium for LSU games. Murders would likely decrease the easy burglary targets during games, strictly a business decision for the area. You are lucky it was a game, though, doubt you'd be alive otherwise.

Anywhere in NO east. 9th ward is close though. I was coming down St Claude because I wanted to check out the balloon festival a few months ago and there was a pretty big shooting right as I was rolling through.

Any neighborhood Street in Hollygrove Central City or mid City near broad. Especially the ones so shitty that you can't drive faster than 10 mph.

Louisiana Ave

Louisiana? I would think the side streets would be more dangerous than the main street in that area.

I was once riding my bike home drunk at 1am or so from the CBD to Uptown and mistakenly took Simon Bolivar/Lasalle through Central City. That was a mistake

ETA: I now see that Magnolia is a side street on Louisiana. I misinterpreted your post initially.

I would say walking through
the abandoned Brandywine apts would give you the best opportunity to be dead or smell someone dead in all of Baton Rouge. I had a police officer tell me that there are probably bodies all in there.
