Thank God. If sex felt any better than it currently does I don’t know how I’d handle life.

I have literally never seen anything about circumcision on FB. You need to cull friends (or of course get off of it).

They just mad because they have to spend extra time in the shower peeling back their hood and scraping toe jam off their knob ring.

I’ll give a reason not to. And it’s a reason that might change the minds of most people on here.

Dr Fauci wants all children circumcised and he’s written articles about it

Edit:
Male* children

Double edit:
Male children with a penis* for all you tranny people out there

Living in America virtually everyone is circumcised, your kid would be an oddball on that front forever,

I guess I don't get this point, because I never compared my penis to anyone else's.

Seems weird to me to be worried about what other people do with their kids. But then again, that seems to be the cool thing today--worry about what everyone else is doing.

You do realize that “all children” means female children too?

Are you accurately describing Fuhrer Fauci’s opinion?

I definitely remember pissing in one of those troughs in elementary school and the kid that wasn't circumcised getting made fun of.

This was a tougher decision for me than I thought it would be. At first, I was not comfortable making a decision for my not-yet-born son that would physically affect him for the rest of his life, but then I realized that's part of being a parent. Not all decisions are going to be easy, and they really throw you a tough pitch to hit from the get go. In the end we had him snipped. I did a lot of medical reading and also consulted with a couple pediatricians, and the medical research said the benefits of circumcision outweighed the cons. I don't regret it. I'm prepared to explain my position to my son if he ever asks.

Willing to bet that if he grows up normal and well adjusted, he won't ever ask.

Having an adult circumcision sucked. The surgery sucked. 6 weeks of recovery unless you have a setback. I had a setback my penis wouldn’t stop bleeding the night after surgery. Had to go to er and they said a hematoma has formed just above my incision and they had no idea what to do this huge orderly wanted to squeeze the blood out I was like hell no. So I had to wait until my doctor went on call 5 hours later. Went to him and he had to remove a stitch with a huge needle to my balls.

To be honest, the science on the benefits for it just isn’t great. The studies that support circumcision were done on people in Africa without access to basic goods a services. And it probably does make sense to circumcise those people.

There are reasons to do it. I wouldn’t fault anyone for doing it.

I had a son a year ago and we opted not to circumcise (I am circumcised). And mostly because of the science part but also I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if something went wrong and his penis was messed up forever for it. Even just being short shafted sucks.

But ya I don’t understand the locker room argument. We had a couple of guys that were uncircumcised and nothing was ever said of it.

If for whatever reason he decides he wants the extra cut off the top, I’ll be happy to take him to get it done. And I know it sucks getting cut as an adult from reading about it, but that’s the decision I landed on.

And Fauci is pro-circumcision so frick that

I had a buddy in college who was uncircumcised. He said girls were kind of weirded out by it and wouldn't go down on him.

Every year doctors botch circumcisions. It’s a biologically and hygienically unnecessary procedure. Imagine if your son was one of the few kids in America who got a circumcision and the doctor fricked it up.

That’s a decent reason. When the risk on one hand is the kid isn’t as “normal” as other kids (and the circumcision rates in America are going down, so he won’t be that weird) and the risk on the other is he loses the functionality of his penis, I could see people erring on the side of not fricking up the kid’s penis.

Every year doctors botch millions of procedures. An infinitesimally small percentage of those botched procedures are circumcisions. Unnecessary doesn't mean unhelpful or unuseful. We do many much riskier things that aren't necessary because they improve our quality of life.
