This guy - Says he doesn’t like to do things that waste his time, yet spends hours a day posting on an Internet forum about Christmas cards.

Oh look. It’s another thread by Pecker where he tries to look cool and edgy but ends up just whining and bitching.

Given that you know how I feel about you, and us, it really hurts me that you mention "him" so much.

hmm... well I never did this growing up, and still don't do it, so I've always found it odd when I get them with friends or family members all dressed in white or some other corny stuff.

why do you send those out?

what makes you think I want to see that?

what am I supposed to do with it?

do you think I'm not putting it directly into the trash?

It's IRL facebook posts.

I like receiving family portraits of my friends and family. About 10 years ago we started receiving a family “newsletter” from my buddy’s wife about what happened with their family and all their accomplishments for that year which included pictures. Weird thing was I knew she was writing it, but referred to herself in the 3rd person. Weird. Sad/funny part is my buddy left her and that put an end to the newsletter....which is kinda chickenshit because we had to read about all the great stuff for years, would have been interesting if she aired out all of their dirty laundry for a final version. :csb:

Damn this thread is full of a bunch of miserable fricks. One day some of you introverts may have a family of your own.

One thing I have noticed about the Xmas cards we recieved is that the good looking mom and dads are included with the children while the not so attractive parents opt out of that photo with junior(s).

I tell my friends that if they send me a pic of their wife in a Christmas dress or tight jeans, sweater, and knee boots.....I am going to masturbate to it. Or 18 year old or older daughters if hot. And I will keep them forever in a special drawer beside my bed. Don't send me photos of your wife or legal ages daughter all dolled up if you have a problem with that.

It seems like you don't give a shite about your family and have no friends.

The dude lives on this message board bitching about normal things that citizens do. Of course his family hates him and has no friends.

I actually enjoy getting Christmas family pictures from friends and family living out of state especially and haven’t seen in a while. It’s sometimes the only way I get to keep up with them, and how their kids are growing up.

There are people I don't see or communicate with much during the year and not because I don't want to, it is just one of those things, you are still friends with someone, they might send you an email/DM and vice versa, a few times a year just to see what's going on, but you don't really go into detail.. So if they send me a Christmas card with pictures of their family and give a brief summary of what their kids are doing, it doesn't bother me

Some people hang up their Christmas cards as part of their Christmas decorations. You can do whatever you feel like doing with them, but like my momma used to say "different strokes for different folks". Everyone has their own way of doing things.. It's no big deal.

I'll ask your question another way - if you've been receiving cards with family portraits for a few years, and you abruptly stop receiving them in 2018, how would you react initially?

No one cares about that kind of thing until you stop doing it, then they wonder why you stopped caring about them.

Do you hate all things Christmas? Pretty sure you had some anti-Santa thread a few weeks ago.

The amount of times I've cringed because some dude is dressed in matching Christmas pajamas with his wife this year. Oh lawd
