why do you send those out?

what makes you think I want to see that?

what am I supposed to do with it?

do you think I'm not putting it directly into the trash?

Ya'll will bitch about anything

Of all the dumb shite girls have created, the family photo Christmas card is probably one of the least objectionable

To send photos to family we dont see often because they are far away? To let them know we are thinking of them at Christmas?

Excuse me, sir, am I not allowed to ask basic questions around here without accusations of bitching? I'm simply curious.

Thank you, and God bless you and yours.

Does this scenario also require a time machine so that the recipient of said card can travel back to a time where Facebook, instagram, and the internet doesn't exist?

You have a strange concept of what a basic question is.

It’s to show people you love and care about, whom presumably love and care about you, how your family is. It’s not to be pretentious, it’s to be caring.

You don’t have to be offended by it

The answer really is quite simple.

It's easier to just stfu and take the God damn picture and let your wife/mother/grandmother be happy.

Is it a waste of time? Yep. Waste of money? Yup? Redundant af with social media? You bet.

But the pain and suffering you will receive from saying "no" to taking the picture far outweighs all of that.

They are, if nothing more, an appeasement to women in hopes of a merry blowjob (from your wife/so)

Call me old school, but physical cards and photos are much more personal than a photoshopped instagram post somewhere on the interwebs.

How else am I supposed to remind my rich uncle that I'm still alive and to send my kid a check for Christmas?
