re: What’s the point of drinking 1-2 beers?

Just did it tonight relaxing with a buddy. shite, just realized he is Asian and I’m supposed to hate him as a white guy.

Prevents you from getting air bound

When I was a young man my motto was beer was like Lays potato chips, you can't drink just one. But now I'm on the edge of being old and I figured out I don't have to drink them all every time. I'm actually more of a Makers Mark bourbon man now, in moderation most of the time.

This trope is so tired. People who utter it cast themselves as parrots incapable of thinking for themselves.

Two Guinness on an empty stomach can typically break the Suez Canal open.

Because a beer buzz is ok once in a while but I don't like being drunk anymore. I used to love it and used to ask myself the same question as OP. Course, I was an alcoholic.

The USDA database shows that cola contains most, but not all, of the minerals found in beer. But it contains no vitamins at all. Beer provides thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B-6, follate, and vitamin B-12.

Beer also has half the glycemic load as cola. (It doesn't raise your blood sugar as fast.)

There are some beers out there that taste good, and 1-2 beers is enjoyable.

However, they aren't called Budweiser, Coors, Michelob, etc.

I don’t drink anymore for very many reason, first being in a skid row alcoholic, but I do miss a ice cold draft Amber, Abigail or Canebreak. Just a tasty beverage. Call me trash, I don’t care but I loved both of those beers tremendously.

It was the switch to straight vodka that got me!

No way I would drink only 1-2 beers unless that is all I had. And, I'm not an alcoholic, I'm a drunk, alcoholics go to meetings.
