how many brands of your craft beers have circled the drains just the past 5 years?
0. I finish a beer even if I don't like it.
quote:
How many brands have you tasted and didn't like?
No idea, under 10 maybe.
quote:
How many brands have you tasted and liked, but never ordered again?
0. If I like something I almost always seek it out again if I can find it.

Now you flippantly cast the shadow of your nose at "Water", but we are talking about only a handful of beers(bud, miller, coors, lites) that while they have been consumed en masse, HAPPILY, for years, even the beers you LIKE you can't stand more than a few bottles "every now and then"
Pick a topic and don't lump them into one massive, irrational statement. Did you even pass the 8th grade?
The major beers that you referenced don't have much flavor. For that reason alone, I choose not to drink it. Sorry if that offends your socio-economically-sensitive butthole.
You say that because this beer has been enjoyed "Happily" for years (when there was little/no competition) the rest of us should fall in line and enjoy something that (to us) is not enjoyable. How much of a sheep are you?
quote:
So think about it, who should I respect when they say they like something?
I don't give a sh*t what you like or don't like. What I choose to drink is my own business, and just because I try new things it doesn't mean I don't have a favorite. I keep my fridge at home stocked with my favorite, sometimes I bring home a 6 pack of something I enjoyed that I tried. By your logic we should all stay home, not go on vacation and live as hermits.

Of all the terrible posters on this board, you're one of them.

I think you should drink what you like and shut the frick up about it. Don't like my beer choice? Eat a dick. I didn't ask. Don't like Miller Lite? Don't drink it.

The only reason I occasionally like to buy and eat a ribeye is because it demonstrates that I am in a class above you lowly peasants. I don't really enjoy how it tastes. Any one who claims that he likes to eat steak is a snob and full of shite.

I too like a good, medium-rare filet mignon. While eating it, I kick my feet up on the backs of the peasant folk while drinking my craft brew, pinky-up.

I like how you up-vote your own posts. Have the need for self-gratification? Compensating for not being breast-fed? Not enough fatherly encouragement in your adolescent years? Lie on the couch, tell us about your mother.

I drink good beer to look cool?

No such thing as a bad beer. Water beer for hot outdoor activities, craft beer for dining/drinking out

Haven't you been paying attention? The only reason to have preferences for anything is classism.
Side note: In all seriousness, a domestic light beer is actually really good for crawfish boils. You don't need something with a lot of flavor when you are already eating very spicy food.

I can see that.
McDonald's isn't for dates

Most german beer is very boring. Snobby enough for ya? Hell, we muricans had to resurrect some of their own styles just to find something interesting from those lager heads.

According to the rest of the beer drinking world, who now look to the USA for beer inspiration.....cept maybe the belgians, the answer is yes.

it is when considering "What's the OT's opinion on beer snobs?
what is a snob by definition? and why are so many so "touchy" about the subject? Truth hurts maybe?
