There are some things on the OT that are getting old. This one is right up there.

In my drinking days. I had whole periods of years that I can't recall. I became aware of my surroundings many times with no clue how I arrived, or how long I had been there

Probably not the most confused I've ever been, but just the first example that came to mind:

When my youngest kid started preschool, there was this mom who was always super friendly to me ... but only at morning drop off. We'd bring the kids to school right around the same time, greet each other by name, catch up for a few minutes, all that. Really sweet lady. Then I'd come back in the afternoon for pickup and she'd barely acknowledge me. It was so fricking weird and polar opposite of how she was just hours earlier that for like six months I couldn't figure out whether this kid's mom was batshit crazy or if I was. (And if it was her, I didn't want to be the one to point it out. )

Finally one morning, the mom mentioned how unpredictable her work schedule could be, but she was so grateful that her kid was able to be picked up from school every day by a close family member ... specifically her identical twin sister.

Every time I black out which happens a lot when I wake up. But when it happens, it's like one is at so peace. My dog stays with me all the time and when this happens, he starts licking my face till I wake up. Guess he is a service dog somewhat that was never been trained.
