Sometimes I take a nap during the middle of the day and on occasion I’ll jolt awake like I overslept and then I’ll be confused as hell as to what time of the day it actually is. It would take my brain a minute to remember that it was just a nap.
It’s confusing as hell for that minute to not know what part of the day it is or if it’s the next day.

When I was dragged unconscious out of Jimmy’s Club and deposited on the sidewalk after a stage dive mishap at a hardcore punk show in the mid 80s, I was pretty fricking confused for several hours. I remember laying on the sidewalk thinking things like “this looks like New Orleans.”

Zoning out while driving then coming out of it not knowing where I’m at.

I signed up for what I thought was a fairly simple 2 hour math class to fulfill my math requirement so I could graduate. It actually was a an upper graduate level class. I pretended to take notes, walked out, and dropped. I still have no idea what the lecture was about.

Went into gas station in a rush and come back out, jump in the truck and with a woman in the passenger seat. She says to me, what the hell are you doing? I was so confused in what the hell is going on. Turns out a guy parked next to me with the exact same truck and I was in his truck as he was in the store.

Got a concussion in the first half of a H.S. football game. Started to run into the other team's locker room at halftime. Coach asked me where I was going. I told him, "I'm going to church".

One time, I went to the Gulfport Outlet Mall. After shopping, I went to leave and couldn't find my car. Searched for a good 10-15 minutes and thought someone stole my car. I was about to call the police when I realized I parked in the back parking lot not the front lot.
