Take the safety off
Chamber a round
Ask them to leave
If not, don't ask again

Because from the way I understand it, there’s not much you can do until they forcibly enter your home and present an actual threat to your life.
That won’t happen
They haven’t been doing that in the cities, they won’t do that in the burbs
They’ll just loot stores in the suburbs.
So long Olive Garden!

Maybe some throw bricks at your window
Seems like a threat enough on my family if they're standing on my property. May not shoot, but at that point they'd be staring down the barrel of my 870.
frick that...I'm mowing them down at that point. Every last one of them until I'm out of bullets...I have my family in this house and people have been killed in these riots. Do I not have the right to assume all riots could very well end up in the death of someone innocent now?
Fortunately, I live in the country and they won't come here, but if they did....they better come packed and loaded like a small army. Every shot fired will be with intent to kill.

If you are on a street and are being attacked by a gang of thugs with bricks and baseball bats, do you have the right to defend yourself? Will it matter if they beat you to death? Will it matter if all they used was their hands to beat you to death?

all the johnny hardasses, at what point is it legal to use your 2nd amendment right?
It makes me a Johnny Hardass because I am man enough to defend my family and my home?

If they are whites dressed in all black with a face mask on? POTUS declared ANTIFA a terrorist organization and the members terrorists. No law against killing terrorists.

It’s wise to have a drop gun nowadays for situations like that.

Wrong. In SC you have no duty to retreat from a group of rioters who are breaking and entering. They do not have to be inside at all. And lethal force is justified by the threat posed... i.e. the fricking group of rioters
You are free to google it if you don't believe me.
You christmas caroler analogy is just you being a disingenuous a-hole.
Here's the statute, douche:
quote:
S.C. Code Section 16-11-440(C) provides that “
[a] person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in another place where he has a right to be, including, but not limited to, his place of business, has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his ground and meet force with force, including deadly force, if he reasonably believes it is necessary to prevent death or great bodily injury to himself or another person or to prevent the commission of a violent crime

There have been a bunch of Facebook Karen threads about antifa coming to Mountain Brook and Vestavia here in Birmingham. Huge hills with spaced out houses. Yeah I’m sure they’re coming to protest and riot while hiking, Karen. The quiet, dark streets of the sprawling neighborhoods will be a lively experience.

Offer them a glass of tea and apparently don't say all lives matter

I don't know how likely they are to come to my hood. The grandmas and teens won't stand for it, they will mow em down like blades of grass with their golf carts. The golf carters here take ZERO shite.
Seriously, they aren't coming here. But if they do, just stay off my property and move along and I dont care. Damage my property or threaten me and we will just see, I dont have a plan.

I highly doubt I would ever point a gun at someone, but there will be zero warnings.

If you shoot a minority protester you will have the following unpleasant side affects:
1: jailed for murder
2: loss of career/livelyhood
3: branded as racist on most media
4: will suffer civil lawsuits where you will be found guilty and lose all personal property and assets.
I.E. you're in for the hassel of your life.
This is the unfortunate reality that we live in.

I'm not a Johnny Hardass. I'm not even named Johnny.
I'm just a guy that wishes to be left alone- and shall be.

frick THAT. if you feel threatened- legitimately, instinctively, in fear for your life- eliminate the threat whether its inside or outside, one foot away or six. The law goes out the window IMO when you or your families life is in danger. and only you can determine that.

Wrong again, at least in SC:
quote:
Section 16-11-450. (A) A person who uses deadly force as permitted by the provisions of this article or another applicable provision of law is justified in using deadly force and is immune from criminal prosecution and civil action for the use of deadly force, unless the person against whom deadly force was used is a law enforcement officer acting in the performance of his official duties and he identifies himself in accordance with applicable law
