My kid is wanting to take a cruise for senior trip. Disney cruise to be specific. Are their different laws out on the water?

I did an Alaskan cruise and we were in and out of Canadian waters/ports, but I think they stuck with 21. That said, my 19 year old cousin pretty much ordered drinks the entire time and only got shut down once or twice.

Why a Disney cruise?

Those are more geared to families with young children

If there was ever a perfect situation to take a Carnival Cruise over other cruise lines....senior trip is one of them

ETA: I took a Carnival cruise for my senior trip

It's 18 once you hit international waters on a Carnival Cruise, you could gamble at 18 as well.

Our parents just bought us drinks the entire time.

Gambling age is 18 though. Doesn't make much sense.

ETA: I did Carnival, this was 3 years ago

False. Atleast when i went summer of 2011

You can gamble but you cant buy alcohol. Not even on any excursions off the boat that they sponsor (hint: frick the excursions. Get fricked up in the beach bars )

Some kids from my high school booked a "Senior Cruise" for their senior trip, thinking it would be all high school seniors. Of course, they went cruising with a bunch of blue hairs.

Tell him to sneak alcohol in with Shampoo bottles or something, it's super easy.
Just make sure he rinses it really really well or he's gonna have soapy whiskey
