Wife and kids.

Smokin babe. Good lady. Awesome mom. 3 awesome dudes who make good decisions, enjoy life, love each other and their parents and are almost all now financially independent.

That was an expense.

My best investments were Tesla, Amazon, and Visa. Considering the sacrifices and payoffs that resulted in happiness and less stress, I guess the wife and kids were also good investments.

I bought my first boat, in 1990 16x48 Weld Craft flat boat… Came with a Suzuki 40. Got it for 2k used. A year later I sold the 40 Suzuki for $1800, so I basically got a boat and trailer for $200…

Put a Suzuki 55 and had some custom work done on it. Live well, dry storage and beefed up the transom… Still have that same boat today.

Agree with the Argentina hunting. Has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. European trip close second. But the best ever spent was on my children. A gift from God!

Honestly, as small as it is a snowboard. Brings me some joy for about one week out of the year.

If I never tried snowboarding, I’d still be living in the South. Tried it, got addicted to it, ended up moving to Idaho

My first apartment I didn't have a lick of furniture. Sat in a folding lawn chair and slept in a sleeping bag. The first thing I bought was a used washer and dryer so I didn't have to lug laundry down to a public washateria. Best money I ever spent.

Imagine the tech’s surprise when they found tiny vestigial balls amidst the forest of your taint, Walt.

Certainly a discussion point for when someone asks them “What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you at work?”

The best money I ever spent is actually money I didn’t spend.

I quit smoking 12 years ago, and therefore have not spent $50,000 on cigarettes in that time.

Thus, I have been able to spend that $50,000 on traveling the world, buying a house, and a new truck, and not digging in couch cushions for spare change to buy cigarettes.

When trying to buy a house the inspection discovered major foundation issues causing us to get out of the contract.

Best $500 I’ve ever spent.
