500 for a flood insurance policy

I’ve been waiting for this answer. If you weren’t in a flood zone and got hit in 2016, I bet it looks like a great investment.

The best money I ever spent was paying for lunch every Sunday with my kids and my parents. Seeing my parents enjoying time with their teenage grandkids was worth a fortune. Especially since we lost my Dad a few years ago.

As a man, hisband, leader of my house and family:
My first house.
Choosing to have the best health insurance.
Times spent traveling with loved ones.
My kids education.

On myself:
Not sure.
Simple things that last or are very useful. Price does not matter if they do those things.

The money I spent to adopt my dog, ten years ago. Don't know what I'd do without my lil buddy.

Breville countertop oven. For the ROI, nothing has changed how we cook and do things in the house more than that oven - I didn't turn on my actual oven for years. Had an element go out one day on the old one and bought a new one that same day. We use it every day for something different.

It does everything and does it unbelievably well.

A Toyota 4Runner

They must be a good vehicle to own. A friend of mine has one. The first vehicle he bought himself was a 4Runner, had it for about 18 years, then traded it in for a new model.

If you can get a good 22 years out of a vehicle that's not bad at all.

…pound for pound, that’s a very high value per dollar item. Not to mention how many times over it pays for itself on toilet paper savings

Years ago I was in a K&B and on a bargain table there was set of micro screwdrivers for $1.00. I bought them and still use them multiple times per year. They have bailed me out so many times. No doubt, the best buck I ever spent !

My dogs. Sometimes they get into something they know they are not supposed to, but its almost like they do it on purpose because as soon as they notice you see them they take off and if I yell at them they will play bark at me, but I can't imagine not having them.

For now, I'll go with Repatha. Before Repatha it was impossible to get my LDL below 100, which meant continual heart blockages and stents. Now with Repatha my LDL stays around 45 and I really don't worry about what I eat.

It is totally against my libertarian beliefs but... TSA precheck is a God send. I paid my $85 extortion fee to the Feds in 2018 and have enjoyed the benefits many, many times.

If you routinely fly out of large airports, it is a must.
