The Human Centipede is a heartwarming story of a fragile larvae aching to be a butterfly, but artistically done. Your wife will love it.

Muppets Christmas starred Michael Caine, not Patrick Stewart. I think Captain Picard was in a different Christmas Carol movie. Either way, the Muppets one is a great suggestion, my kids are that age and every Christmas that’s their first movie request.

Hallmark Channel and Prime Video have the 1984 classic THE NIGHT THEY SAVED CHRISTMAS.

The only questionable moment is near the beginning when CB, in a fit of rage, yells at his parents, "I hate you!" after they tell him that Santa isn't real.
