Thinking of buying a fifth wheel camper when this Corona virus shite is over with. Going to need a 1-ton truck. What's the best?

I’d buy the new super duty with the 7.3l Gasser, it’d less maintenance overall.

in a 1 ton? Would the maint. savings be more than the fuel costs? Especially towing a camper.

I'm a cummins fanboy so I'd say a new ram 3500 with 6.7 cummins. Unfortunately they got rid of manual transmission option last year, which is what I have

Unless you pull more often than not, gas is the better option $-wise usually

speaking of trucks, why do GMC and Chevy truck peeps argue and bicker over the 2 brands, while shitting all over the other brand, when they are literally built, side by side, down the same factory line?

If he’s not hauling on a daily basis, the Gasser is the way to go.

My next ride will be a f350 tremor package with 7.3L gasser. Currently have a 2012 f250 with 6.7 diesel. Fuel and maintenance are much more on a diesel for only a few more mpg. No doubt the diesel pulls like a freight train. I had to delete mine to get it reliable I was having constant trouble with the emissions system and cost me a few thousand out of warranty.

I'd also consider how often and where you will be pulling it OP? You going up and down mountains and on 3000 mile trips a couple times a year? Or you just pulling it 3-4 hours most of the time once a month? People are generally better off buying the truck and motor they use a majority of the time.
