Seems like a waste of money to me and unless its liquor unnecessarily calories.

Eta: I'm talking about the people who quit as soon as they feel a hint of a buzz. Those people are lame

depends really on your definition of "drunk".

I like to sip on something while tailgating to get relaxed and just enjoy the day....I don't consider that being drunk.

I do enjoy being shite faced, but at this point in life, the hangovers are too damn bad so I don't really do that any more.

Same here. I somehow drank a fifth of 100 proof between last Saturday afternoon and this past Friday night. Never once had more than a slight buzz. Never had a hangover either. Just a drink or two at dinner. The only night I had more than two was Tuesday and that was watching a football game. I stick to one drink per quarter and never get sloppy or have hangovers that way. Enough to relax and maintain.

I like getting drunk with good friends in a cool setting, but the hangovers just aren't worth it anymore. Funny that getting shitfaced every weekend is what a lot of people seem to consider living life to the fullest. Should be the opposite imo

Taste. If you routinely drink just to get drunk you have a problem.

I drink too damn much, but I enjoy it and have a good time. Until 3 am when I start texting all of my exes. None of which live in Texas.

Then wake up the next day wondering just how big an arse you made of yourself the night before.

I drink to relax. My days of drinking to get loaded are long past me now.

Whats the benefit of getting hammered, and not remembering how much "fun" you had? Or why your sister wife has a fat lip the next morning??

Ifu are being serious about this thread question you really need to reconsider your life choices and/or grow up. "Getting hammered" isnt as "kewl" as you think.

Having even one drink is relaxing and can cool nerves and loosen you up socially. You don't have to be wasted to feel the effects of alcohol.

If you drink and you ask that question you are basically admitting that you are an alcoholic. I’ve been there but it sort of like a tell.
