This and men/women showers.
I had to go to one of these years ago and everyone literally sat in a circle and watched the girl and guy open gifts. How do you convince the man to agree to some shite like this? Maybe I am a bit sexist I don't know, but it also reminds of some of the shite my dad used to say and how sexist it would be taken today.
One time.. it was some type of shower or all women event and I think I was wanting to go with my mom and my dad was like "You are a boy, you don't go to things like that. Its just a bunch of women doing what they do best.. talk and gossip"
But I agree. Gender reveal parties has no purpose other than to seek attention. Humans have been having kids since the beginning of time and its going to either be a boy or girl. Why do you need to have a party to tell everyone what your kid is going to be? :

I don't mind being at brunch, as in, dining at 10:00AM or so on a Sunday where we made reservations and don't have to wait. But I want a full menu to be offered or for the brunch menu to also contain normal lunch foods as options.
Being possibly woozy feeling from Saturday night at a restaurant whose limited brunch menu is all stuff like Smoked Salmon Benedict is not enticing to me.
I hate mimosas too no matter how strong or watered down they are.
Anyway my answer: Cinco De Mayo. I do not understand why white people have gone crazy for this day, and unfortunately many of them are my friends who insist we not just go out.. but go to a popular Mexican spot where it is insane.

I was excited to try some Beaver Nuggets from Buc-ee’s a couple days ago.
Wife, kids, and myself didn’t care for them.
