My buddy flew for them but then he crashed and had to live on a deserted island. He turned gay with a white rotund guy named Wilson. He took up sailing and finally got home only to find out his whore wife had a new dude.

The AYCE crab legs were great for his figure.

He also missed the Titans only shot at ever winning a Super Bowl.

Gotta tell you, my father was a corporate pilot for a brokerage firm in Atlanta. That was one of the best gigs I've ever seen anyone get. I know he paid his dues in the USAF and early in his civilian career, but man did it pay off. And he was the first to admit it. Great salary, ridiculously easy schedule, and when he retired they gave him an incredible "golden parachute". Couldn't happen to a more deserving individual. RIP dad.

Been an Airline Pilot for 26 years. Airbus captain here. Great job! Love it. Of course, it has its ups and downs with scheduling , maintenance…etc that can cause stress. Overall, wouldn’t trade my job for anything!

Trolling the passengers would be fun. I'd want to purposely mumble something on the intercom but come across as stressed. Have my crew pretend to be stressed and only tell people to "remain calm," And then about 5 minutes later, nonchalantly get on the intercom and clearly say, "I hope everyone is enjoying this lovely flight."

Several years ago I was flying to Montreal and we started to descend and suddenly abruptly pulled up and started to circle. The pilot made an announcement in French and those who understood started saying, AhhhhOOOOH!

Next announcement was in English and the pilot apologized for sudden move due to a plane taking off
from the runway we were approaching and a collision was avoided. Then we English speakers went AhhhhOOOOH!

My understanding is those dudes fly under some of the worst conditions.

I think the air taxis in Alaska have pretty cool jobs. Definitely more stress, but you get to see some really cool things and it's always something new.

How much interference do you have to run with the other members of the flight crew on lay overs.....does your wife ask "questions" ?

I’ve always heard the stewardesses were party animals and pilots had the pick of the litter as they stay at the same hotels.

Not sure about today. Most stewardesses are gay men or old fat ladies.

The plane probably flies and lands itself mostly if everything is going as it should.

Flies, but not lands. I flew a 2018 small private plane. The avionics were so advanced that outside of takeoff and landing there was not much to do.

When on an instrument flight plan, they vector you out of the airspace and into the terminal airspace. They also give you altitude changes. But that doesn't take much. The plane flies the flight plan by itself other than that.

My Southwest pilot friend said they are rarely attractive young women in these jobs like the old days and when there are he stays away from crew members on his planes. I think they do party pretty hard though.

right up your alley - you can always become a pilot - think of all the return fraud you could do nationwide

Checking in.

It’s mostly chill. The people I fly with by and large are decent and easy to get along with. Had a couple major mechanical emergencies, but mostly smooth sailing. About to head to El Salvador as we speak.

It would take years before I got tired of making the “welcome to (wrong city)” joke.

I follow a pilot on YouTube that lives in Dallas. He’s a First Officer, and he does mainly 3 day trips. At the end of each month he shares where all he went, what he did during the layovers, and how much he made. In January he worked 9 days, off 21 days and made $30,000.

Definitely gives me inspiration to continue my flight training.
