Really had appreciation from the 1,000,000 mile thread and other threads recently discussing being upside down and overspending on vehicles…living in debt. Also discussions with friends thinking 100,000 miles is the best time to flip vehicles.

People value vehicles differently, but I always looked at them as the worst thing to spend a significant amount of money on. Haven’t had a ‘car note’ since 2001.

Me: 2011 Tundra, 198,000 miles. Zero plan on getting rid of it until maybe 300,000.

Interested to see the sample size of the OT.

2021 GMC Sierra AT4 w/ 23k and a 2021 Audi Q5e w/ 31k for the Mrs.

Prior to this we had a 2019 A5 Sportback that I sold at 20k for the Q5e. Still wish I had my 2007 4Runner that I sold at 170k to buy the A5

Gas mileage, family convenience, and reliability are all I care about these days.

2007 Tundra. 95,000 miles. Bought it with cash 2 years ago from a local fireman that only drove it every third day and on fishing trips to Canada. Had 84,000 miles when I bought it. Plan to drive it until it completely falls apart.
