Give him 5 minutes. Listen to this song and make your peace with God.

Ask if he has a (18+) daughter and offer to take care of her for him.

Believe in Jesus Christ. He died for your sins and rose again. Right now, ask Him to forgive you, and trust Him to save you. You can say: ‘Jesus, I believe You died for my sins. I trust You to save me. Please forgive me and come into my life.’ If you say this from your heart, you are saved and will go to Heaven.

That’s it.

I would tell him we are from birth eternally separated from God because of our sins, and this means we deserve the death penalty BUT God sent His only son to pay your death penalty on your behalf as a free gift to all who would simply take Him at His word and believe that He is who He said He is and that He did it for them, which is the way we receive that gift. Believe. Faith is the only way we please God. He’s not an angry God and did not come to condemn the world but rather to save it, and he eemonstrated that love by sacrificing His only Son for us. He made it so easy that many simply will not accept it, believing it is too easy and that they can earn it, or prove themselves deserving of it, and they are in serious error. We accept salvation. We don’t earn something we have no ability to earn, deserve, or feel bad enough to attain. We simply receive what Christ has already finished for us on our behalf. That is being born again, and He us faithful to do so as ALL who call upon the name if the Lord shall be saved. Nobody deserves this. We are given this.

If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, and that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved

It really is that simple. You don’t need to go get baptized you don’t need to go do any good deeds you simply need to believe and put your full trust in Jesus

You tell him hes going. None of us know the true answer so why not do your best to give the man as much peace as possible in his last moments. He'll find out if heaven/hell is real before we do.
you couldn’t be more wrong here. Trying to comfort someone on their way out by lying to them is a terrible thing you’ll have to answer for one day

The thief simply obeyed the Gospel. That’s all he di, and he was saved eternally the very instant he put his faith in Jesus for salvation

Can’t get any more transparent than that

Ask for more time. By time he ask the question and you answer that will take.. 6-8 seconds? And not knowing what he did in life I don't know what he has to do to get to heaven.

The weakest of the well known apologetics, in my opinion. It basically only applies to lapsing Christians and no one else.

Dwight Yoakam wrote a song about this.

Ah yes
“Well I'm a honky tonk man and I can't seem to stop
I love to give the girls a whirl to the music of an old juke box
But when my money's all gone, I'm on the telephone singing
Hey, hey, mama can your daddy come home”

He just wants to go home

it was never intended to be a final argument, more of a first step in case someone was interested in Christianity
