So I am a recent college grad and I just was offered a job which I am accepting. I have to complete an 8 month training period in Winnsboro. Would you rent an apartment in Monroe and drive the 40 miles there and back each day? Or would you suck it up and rent one in Winnsboro (yes they have some) for the 8 months and save a good bit of money??

So saving money, drive time and sleep 5 days a week vs not saving any of those 5 days a week. Just drive to Monroe to party on the weekends brah

You save the money, and find a decent slam piece in Winnsboro... probably wont be the greatest, but it's only 8 months

Yes it is 8-5 on M-F. It is exactly a 40 minute drive. So I would get back around 6 each day. I would have to leave at 7 each morning which wouldn't be bad.

NO WAY I'm putting that much mileage on my vehicle for training. Winnsboro for the win.

I'd say just get a place in Winnsboro. You can always go to Monroe whenever on the weekends. Do you have friends in Monroe to crash there if it's late and you don't feel like driving back to Winnsboro?

It's not like Monroe is a tropical paradise.
