Video or it didn't happen chant? Joking joking.

Eta: tough crowd. I was just predicting the typical OT peanut gallery.

I agree pastor should be fired immediately.

Has anyone brought up Dino yet?

quote:

After he finished speaking, a man and woman approached the lectern. The woman told the congregation she was victimized by Lowe when she was 16, and said she’s lived in “a prison” for 27 years – not 20 years.

“You did things to my teenage body that had never and should have never been done,” she said. “If you can’t admit to the truth, you have to answer to God. You are not the victim here.”

quote:

The woman said she spent years feeling like a “horrible person” with suicidal thoughts until two weeks ago, when her brother approached her about a memory of seeing his younger sister in bed with his pastor

That sounds like more than just "adultery."

A truly repentant man would submit himself to whatever consequences come of it; legal, financial and social.

Well if he resigns there's not much for me to do. Up to her whether or not she presses charges.

That's not adultery, that's rape. He should be removed from his position immediately, regardless of when it occurred. God can forgive Him but he in no way needs to be in a position of Biblical authority.

I like how he says she was the only 16 year old he slept with and there were no more after her. Like, well shite man, you’re good then.
