Yea, I would not really want to live in Selma but that is a really incredible house for that price. The architecture is amazing.

Try more like 20 million in San Francisco. Palo alto area maybe 8-10.

5,400 square feet is not big. Depends on where it was. Mouton Gardens (mire likely for a house that age) would be a little more, maybe 200k, but in River Ranch, it would be 575k.

Middle of middle class Lafayette, I'll say the Woodvale neighborhood, it would be about 250k.

Would be a cool house for a young attorney or doctor to buy and fix up. Doubt anyone else in that town has the money to do what is needed to save that place.
