There's a good chance our experiment with democratic republicanism would have failed. It succeeded largely because the market economy of the early 1800s increased social mobility for white males (giving more people a stake in the success of the republic). Naturally, that market economy depended on slave labor for raw materials.

which I eluded to in the OP.

I want you to understand something and I know this is hard for anyone to grasp now days.
Every single empire of any kind throughout history was built by slaves.
Even the empires that had black kings had slaves.
It's just how people with power rolled back in the day

I thought so, yes. Extending the idea a little bit, the failure of democratic republicanism could have had myriad repercussions, none of which would have been inevitable just much more likely to occur. Some of these might include:
1. Getting taken over by some European power in the mid 19th century. Maybe Britain would have finally swooped down from Canada like they did in 1812 -- only this time they would have ended our little experiment in independence.
2. Having our government overthrown by some authoritarian, big government power in the mid 19th century.
....oh wait ... that happened anyways
3. Some kind of yeoman's revolution that fragments the country into small, disparate, and powerless states.

Because there wouldn't have been the lasting effects from an enslaved population and assimilation would have been much easier. Less strife down the road. Not nearly as segregated a society.
The benefits are pretty multitudinous.

we'd still have a buncha white boys playing pro basketball and we'd get our shite pushed in at the Olympics

Really?
Because there are absolutely no great white athletes, right?
Every white person is a weak, spindly little üntermensch with no chance at all in anything physical.
GTFO. You are delusional.

Better. Slavery was the worst mistake this country ever made. Will be paying for it for centuries.

The United States would be same. First off we would have still become the nation we are today because there were other ways of getting labor. The Chinese were very instrumental in building america.
The Civil War would probably not have taken place.
It is a fact that slavery is the best thing that could have ever happened to provide opportunity for blacks in America today. There would be no Ben Carsons, Oprah Winfrey's, Michael Jordons, etc., had it not been for slavery.
The black population today is a huge burden on our society for the most part. There are many great black people in the US but the good does not outweigh the bad. They are mostly a burden. Based on the population of blacks in this country they are irrelevant.
However, there would still be division among people because that is just human nature. White people would just find some other group to hate.
I think we would be about the same.

There would be almost no blacks in the US.
Irish immigrants would have still built a ton of stuff.

ROFL. Are you kidding me? Al Sharpton would be running Liberia with mega-assloads of slaves on his own plantation.
