Why didn’t you feel safe? Because there were black people there?

It's actually very very very easy. Vote Conservative. That's it. That's all. Of course as always this city is full of morons so they'll continue to ignore that.

You get what you vote for.

Get rid of hipsters

The hipsters could be part of what saves the city if they wouldn't vote for such far left policy makers. Hipsters usually bring tech or other higher paying jobs and/or have high disposable income. Those are the things the city needs.

Kingbob's list pretty much nailed it. Someone who ran on that platform would have 0% chance at winning, but it would save the city.

It's such a shame NOLA, and the state at large, is too dumb to get out of it's own way.

White people from uptown have no control over the city’s politics

That gets thrown around here to make people feel better I guess

Latoya got a TON of money from them last time because people were scared of Desi's brother having any power.

She will NOT get that money and backing this time, I promise you.

NOLA

NOLA, like other cities, deserves what it's gotten as their voting the same type of individual in. It won't change until they fully collapse and I'll be fine when it does.

How much money? Urban politics are run by what DNC orgs will line up and bus voters to the polls for you and register voters.

If you couldn’t fix the city after all the money and effort that went in post-Katrina, it’s fricked.

So Not For Sale NOLA and the pro-business Uptown interests had nothing to with the 2017 election?

Latoya will walk into a second term.

Depends on who actually throws their hat in the ring. Latoya has pissed off a large portion of the city on both sides of the political spectrum. Not saying she won’t win, but I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion.

Even the Nola subreddit has flipped on her.

I have a feeling she’ll get a second term but only because no sane person will want to inherit the city on the tail end of Covid with a drastically reduced budget.
