It’s the system we’ve been talking about implementing since Regan was in office.
I’m completely baselessly asserting we never stopped working on or developing it and can put it into action should an ICBM or a hypersonic missile is launched at us.

A major country using a nude would be terrible for them geopolitically. Every country worth a damn woukd scramble to stick it to them and defend themselves

I've actually suggested this... Send a bunch of hookers, blow, and vodka to Russia. Put them on the border dressed up as Russians. You know tight t-shirts that say I love Russia and a big fur coat to keep them warm.

SDI was a failure but as a propaganda tool and to convince the Russians to blow money they didnt have on developing their own system it was success. I've written and researched this topic fairly often. Taking out a single missile or two from say N. Korea is possible. Taking out an ICBM tipped with MIRVs plus dummy war heads....that a different story. Now add 100's of those flying at US cities.

Nah. Literally every nation would demand he immediately step down and face war crime charges or they would be nuked into the stone age. He would eventually be killed by his own associates if he didn't so that this wouldn't happen.
Which is why he and nobody else would ever do that. Using a nuke is an absolute last resort action old only serves to take your enemy with you as much as possible. The people that run the world on any side don't want to wait out a nuclear winter in bunkers when they could make trivial concessions and hanging out on their yachts.
