Big 10 just cancelled their season. I'm guessing the others will follow suit shortly.

I thought it was pretty well established that a lot of people on this board had already given up on football...to own the libs.

Is sports your only hobby? Is lack of sports on tv, more specifically football, a reason for an entire state to be in a state of depression? Ridiculous.

What a melt. I said nothing about hobbies. Nothing. Talk about taking the worst possible perspective.

No.

No. No one even implied that. You took a comment about physically tailgating and morale in BR and turned into a sports on TV and the entire state.

Will a bunch of people be bummed out that they can't do one of their favorite pastimes that they have been doing for decades? Yes, absolutely. And there is nothing "ridiculous" or "sad" about it.

Following sports, tailgating, etc isn't a hobby? Tell me more.

How is what I said a melt? It's a rather accurate depiction of your attitude towards people who enjoy sports as a hobby.

In fact your follow up post just reinforced it.

You're just being a dickbag about it. Might as well own it.

Are professional/collegiate sports related things your only hobbies?

Maybe you should diversify.

I already answered this.

Why is this your only response? And why did you ignore my previous response to you?

Your subjective interpretation of what you believe I mean isnt a truth.

If sports ends your ability to experience hobbies that's sad. You're going to struggle for awhile.

I mean you're sitting here in this very thread shitting on people who view sports as their hobby. It's not exactly hard to see what you mean when you come right out and say it.

Would you consider watching football a hobby? I'm honestly asking because I can see an argument that it is and that it isn't.
