All these damn Wells Fargo commercials on CFB games. Still don’t know anyone who trusts their asses.

people use state farm and they have been fined 2 times, big fines for defrauding their clients and using used parts for their car repairs and claiming they were brand new

Let me screw all of the board members wives. It's the only logical conclusion.

They should be in jail. A friend of mine got his teeth knocked out in prison for doing the same thing on some loans.

I've had 2 mortgages and a personal account with them for 20 years with no issues.

I can tell you as someone who spent time in the banking indurstry, Wells Fargo was doing nothing that every other bank isn't doing. They just got a little carried away with it and got caught.

They would have to become a credit union. I'm no banker, but I doubt that's possible.

Maybe. I dont know. The purported culture seems foreign to me from what I’ve see .

My experience in finance is in institutional shite where there are so many eyeballs you can’t scratch your arse without 10 people coming out of the woodwork to ask you how much you were actually itching.

If I remember correctly:
1. They opened accounts on clients and charged them on said accounts without telling clients
2, They Fined people for being in default of auto loans who were actually not and repossessed cars they were not supposed to
3. Probably other stuff

Branch banking ain't finance baw. It's just fancy retail. As long as nobody complains they really do not care how you meet your sales goals.

For example, an employee left my the last bank i worked out, he wanted to close out his account. Turns out, when I went to close it, the assistant manager who left a few months earlier had opened about 12 different checking accounts under his name.

You also probably have 2 other accounts with them you know nothing about.

I don’t know about that....

Anything around DDA banking movements I’ve been told is ‘tradiontiona’ banking for all its pros and cons. Again, that is highly outside my realm of experience but I would think would be/should be more highly regulated.

I do millions of dollars of business with them a year through my company, 0 issues ever.

Wouldn’t put $5 in a checking account.
