Also, calories in vs calories used is how people get fat, not by sitting on the couch.
Well sitting on the couch doesn't expend that many calories
But I'd say diet is much more important than exercise for weight maintenance
I find resistance training is the best thing a fat MFer can do and I say that as a fat MFer who is trying to lose weight. Cardio is overrated.

Lower tax rate for people that aren't obese.

Do you? This doesn't work for everyone
It can and should but people get grumpy because they are addicted to sugar.

If you're talking about behaviors in people, which we are, it absolutely matters.
For about 3 days.

Then eat less. Ultimately, calories in vs calories out is all that matters. Everything else is simply adjusting the variables.

Intermittent fasting can work for some people, but you have to be disciplined when you break the fast. Too many people overeat when they do that and end up taking in as many, or more often more calories than they would have if they had eaten in traditionally normal intervals.
Science and studies disagree with you

Can and should don't mean anything. Explain what you mean.

Wrong.

After the trillions of dollars spent in the nutrition and weight loss industry, there should be a drug to take care of it. The dosage should be based on size and weight loss desired. You take it until you get to the right size. Another drug for muscle grow. So you can buy whatever kind of body you want..

Junk science and some studies disagree with me. Pseudo-nutritionists who have developed their own religions also disagree with me.

yes i do and caloric timing is what i was speaking about. it doesn't matter when you take it in.

Obviously. I just pointed out that behaviors also matter. If someone eats more when they're done fasting, fasting was useless.

You're fricking clueless dude. You've already made your mind up, but legit scientific methods show IF regulates hormones that make the hunger subside and total consumption goes down. It's not a thing that one MUST do to be healthy, but it is a great tool that has shown to be effective.

Of course, but science and studies show that almost never happens.

Wrong, and completely wrong.
Here's an article that includes several studies that concluded that those who ate a healthy breakfast were more likely to maintain a healthy weight than those who skipped breakfast.

This doesn't mean anything. You're just reacting emotionally.

Studies show...
I'd love to watch you try to break any of those down.

I want everyone to be fat except for a select few women.
Makes it easier to look good compared to others.
More donuts for the masses!

My solution would be mandatory fat camps.

This doesn't mean anything, either. Pulling up some random studies doesn't undo knowledge and reality.
Again, let's see you post some of these studies and try to break them down.

Data from the study came from broad questionnaires that explore the links between lifestyle, diet, and disease among members of the group.
quote:
Researchers found that participants who ate three meals a day and snacked between meals tended to gain weight over time, while those who ate one or two meals a day tended to lose weight
1. This isn't even a study, it's a questionnaire
2. Did you even read it
3. The timing of the fast doesn't matter. If you want to eat your meals at 9AM and 3PM that's fine.

Your point would be valid if , for example, people who live unhealthy lifestyles weren't allowed into the same healthcare insurance pool as the rest of us.....
but my point has already been validated by the US Constitution and the courts. For now. I don't like paying for lots of things, but that's not how it works. I don't like abortion, but I'm paying for it. I don't like paying for public schools, but I pay for those as well.
And you are free to join whatever healthcare you can afford. Or you can just pay your own way. Its up to you. Go find one that doesn't accept fatties.

Keep electing progressive liberal democrats to high office and we'll soon become a another Venezuela. Then mass starvation will eliminate the obesity rate PDQ.
Ask the starving Venezuelans what they think of socialism.
