I don't either.

It's much easier and satisfying for Americans to eat like shite and never do any form of exercise, than to do the opposite and actually take care of your body. America is screwed when it comes to the obesity numbers IMO, and there's not much we can do about it.

There's so much wrong with this I don't even know where to start. Breakfast is completely unnecessary in every sense. Hormones, calories, everything.

Of course it is , that's why the first thing world class athletes do is they stop eating breakfast.

but the video game hasn't made anyone fat.

Well, substituting video games for physical activity certainly doesn't help the cause.

Because people have been told it's genetics.

While looking like Tarzan might, being obese isn't.

That I can agree with, I thought you were saying video games specifically caused obesity, I was like ummm

Being sedentary is a huge part of childhood obesity. Video games can't cause obesity, they inactivity can.

This is untrue. A healthy breakfast is important to overall health because it helps get the entire day off to a good place. For example, if you don't have a good breakfast, you are more likely to snack through the morning, and or overeat at lunch.

It's not about whether you need the calories of a breakfast for your lifestyle.

PLease STFU as you have no idea what you are talking about. There is nothing and I mean nothing that shows breakfast is important. DO you even intermittent fast bro?

It will have to be a full cultural shift and people will need to be educated

This whole notion of these low fat foods being good for people is nonsense

And I'm certainly no keto zealout

Agreed

If you aren't hungry you shouldn't be forcing breakfast down your throat for no reason

Do you? This doesn't work for everyone. If you're talking about caloric intake, timing doesn't really matter. If you're talking about behaviors in people, which we are, it absolutely matters.

So....Wonder who would be named Fat Czar?

And before any of you claim Dept of Fill-In-The-Blank would handle it on their own, you know that's not how the central gov't operates. If you really REALLY want this, you'll have to wait until the usual grifters in DC figure out a way to funnel money from it.

Correct, we're talking about fat people altering their lifestyles aren't we? Learning to eat 3 proper meals at regular times will aid in that.

Intermittent fasting can work for some people, but you have to be disciplined when you break the fast. Too many people overeat when they do that and end up taking in as many, or more often more calories than they would have if they had eaten in traditionally normal intervals.

Also, calories in vs calories used is how people get fat, not by sitting on the couch.
