Friday football game. After the game swing by National Liquor Bank on 70th street for a 98 cent 40oz. Swing by the Woodlawn McDonald’s at corner of 70th and Mansfield. Hang out in parking lot with friends listening to 2 Live Crew bumping on someone’s system. Buy some weed off one of the heads or brothers. Run down to other end of Mansfield Rd to Southwood Taco Bell on Jewella. Either pick up some Southwood chics or get into a fight with some Southwood shite kicker. End up at someone’s house. Smoke, drink, frick, puke, then drag arse to the house.

My senior year was 1988-89. Friday nights was probably hanging out with the girlfriend night. Obviously long before gaming, iphones etc, Our entertainment was going out to eat or the movies, or just cruising around.

Some combination of playing Super Nintendo and sitting on the bench in basketball games. By senior year I had gotten smart, and was getting into bars on a fake ID.

cruising West Monroe and drinking vodka until Dec. 6, 1968, when Wade "Duggo" Fincher, WMPD officer shined a light on my floorboard. For months/years after that, I was home on Friday, and all other nights.

Went to HS in Kingwood, played football, then hung out at the boat docks, built bonfires out of 'borrowed' pallets found behind the grocery store, or went to a party at someone's house.

Outside of football season going to Tad Gormley for a game, typically would get daiquiris off Belle chase hwy, grab some beer at a gas station, head to Taco Bell, then take that beer to the Locks in Harvey and just frick around.
