when i was a kid i wanted to be a cowboy. got to work as one for 5 years. got to ride bulls a few times but was mainly just a ranch hand. I miss the hell out of it but there was no money in it. A few years later got to work at a brewery while i was laid off from the construction industry. no money in it but i loved going to work. I kind of regret quitting that job to go back to being an estimator. It's crazy how all the things society tells you that you are supposed to want (car, house, college education, kids) end up keeping you from what really made you happy.

I never knew what I wanted to do. Still don't, really. I'm in IT and don't hate it, so that's good enough.

Something with animals probably would be a good career for me.

I always saw myself in a successful competitive business where working harder and smarter translates to better money. I do that now

I'm a construction superintendent now so cool. I've always loved building things.

Dream job would probably be to own my own custom cabinet/carpentry shop. The kind you see on YouTube with $30k CNC machines and $10k sliding table saws.

My dad was a truck driver, always loved going with him.

I now work from home. Total 180.

If I could drive, I would.

When I was little, I wanted to be a fireman, because people depended on them at their most desperate (and they got to drive a cool fire truck and carry an axe).

By the time I turned 10, I wanted to be a professional baseball player because they got to be famous and they were always in the papers.

Around the time I was 15, I wanted to be a fighter pilot because flying was awesome.

In my late teens, I wanted to be an architect, because they get to design things that people interact with for years and years.

I'm now in a role where I architect major business solutions and solve massive problems (a firefighter role in a figurative sense). I've been published, and I fly commercially almost every week. So in a sense, I guess I sort of have my dream job. Doesn't feel like it though. Maybe I need the fire truck.

In the early 2000’s, I wanted to be a Deejay at a Gentlemen’s Club.

I always practiced saying in a velvety voice: “Welcome to the stage, Crystal” and then in my head I would select which Kid Rock song I would fade into.
