We had gone to some NYE party on river road. Woke up in the la Quinta in Metairie and vomited off the balcony in my underwear.

Junior year HS. Was trying to figure out how 9-11 could have happened and trying to make any sense of it possible. Bluegrass Miracle. I literally ran out to the street in front of my house yelling LSU!
WrestleMania X8. Still was using dial up internet at home. World Series for Randy Johnson & the Diamondbacks. That's what I take from it.

Rough year. Hiding out in a cabin, I was a handler for a sled dog team. In the depths of alcoholism, in a very toxic but thrilling relationship, being hounded by her angry husband.
I was burning out big time, but knew my choices would lead there from the beginning and willing to take the risk. Spent 21 days in jail that year, two weeks in rehab and still didn't stop drinking.

Junior at LSU. Had just switched majors to Chem Engineering from Mechanical Engineering (ended up graduating with this degree). I was a pothead. Good times.

2nd year of college. Women were tighter and less bitchy back then. Also caught some big bass that year in a secret spot that is now gone.

Was almost finished with my bachelors - living in NOLA - got married that year (still married) - the last year where it was only us two - lol
He hauled arse as a delivery driver and I worked at school. We had no idea what we wanted to do. I knew I had to go to graduate school, he knew he had to work.
Good times.

Jr year at LSU. School and work during week. Take out $60 for the weekend hit up Tigerland on Friday and retro night at Varsity on Saturday. Have some left over cash for taco bell. Life was simple.

Freshman year of high school. My sister bought me “Appetite for Destruction” by Guns N Roses on my birthday that year and I became a huge GNR fan. I’d say life was good overall that year.

Sophomore or junior year. Most likely having fun at some mixture of Fred's, Caterie or Tiger Bar. Bag of Donuts and Werewolf were the bands to see.
I remember having to build up courage to talk to a girl in person. Better days, simpler times.

Year and a half out of the Army and flying all over CONUS and International to hire people to work in the Middle East on U.S. Army Government contracts. Up in the Air type shite (the movie), tons of airline miles, hotel and rental car perks.

Higher than where I ended up right now.

I was out of college working and making good bank in Dallas
Single and going out 3-4 nights a week, weekends at the apartment pool with 20-30 people getting hammered.
Life Trajectory was getting fricked up and banging chicks.
Then I got married, bought a house, had a kid and moved to the suburbs- PARTY OVER

27 years old and living in Olympia, WA with my fiancée. I had just gotten back in the Army after 9/11 and was working for the Joint Operations Center doing airport security stuff and assessments.
My wife and I got married at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas because it was cheap and easy for both sides of the family to attend, and we didn’t have a lot of money. It was a very nice little ceremony in a private chapel.
I got hired back onto full-time Active duty later that year as the Assistant Operations Officer for my Battalion. When that happened, we finally were able to buy our first home. We closed in December 2nd of that year and moved in. We’re still here after 18+ years :)

I was pre - Tigerdroppings, so while I had a family , thriving spiritual life and career, I now know my whole life was a lie.
