We played two hand touch football in elementary. That was always my favorite.
I'm pretty sure they had us playing tag too, and I always liked tag. There's a professional tag league now that's actually easy to watch on Youtube.

Wall Ball and Kill Ball. Then of course in PE when you would walk in and either see the line of balls for dodgeball or the giant parachute.
Also had Tagup. Basically playing baseball with a tennis ball and your hand was the bat. If you got out you went in the field and whoever got you out went in the batting order. Played with redhots of course.

Loved dodge ball, but that was a recess game, not a PE game. Vollyball was always fun in PE.
But #1 all time has to be gym floor hockey, with the little plastic sticks and puck, using some cones as the goal. That was a good time.

Smear the Queer which was pretty much running wild dodgeball/tag combination. You actually wanted to be "it" so you could hit people in the face with the ball.

We played some game called bring home the bacon. It was basically a mix of capture the flag and flag football. You'd have your side of the field where you couldn't lose your flag, but if you went to the other side, you could. Once you got to the end zone, you were safe again. You could run the ball out back across the halfway line to win or throw it across and someone had to catch it.
