I work 100 feet from the c-suite of a massive corporation and routinely have interaction with the senior officers and their cronies.
So, it happens about 5 days a week for me

I work a serviced based job, so pretty much most days of the week.

I was at a bar in Houston last year. There was a table that had a ‘reserved sign’ but an hour or two went by and it stayed empty and the place was pretty packed. Me and my buddy said screw it and sat down. 30 minutes later, a security guy tells us to get up and we started acting out and asking why, then the bar manager told us to get up or leave the bar. James Harden and his entourage were walked to the table shortly after.

That nametag that had IRS below his name was the first hint.

About 12 years . I have a dear friend. He's a prince of a guy, generous to a fault. I had a renovation company and it was a slow period, I was between projects. As a personal favor I agreed to paint his home gratis. I did most of the work myself. It took me two weeks to complete. Around that same time, his wife (also a dear friend) had a funeral in the family and I agreed to be a pall bearer.
Anyway, my friend's business partner (a physician) had only seen me with a paint brush in my hand. At the funeral he looked at me and said " wow-you clean up nice" like I was a bum. The irony is the house I painted was an investment property, in which he was half owner. So I had done all this work for him and was rewarded for it from him by an insult, lol. He has since been condescending to me on almost every occasion I have seen him. It's his nature. He's an Old School "Oneupsmanship" kind of guy.
I don't nurse grudges, but this guy's arrogance was a special kind of ignorance. I'm a Buddhist and we train ourselves not to "take" or internalize that stuff, -don't get attached to grievance, so it's more amusing than anything to remember. A big part of life is just navigating successfully by all the different kinds of personalities out there. I figure everybody gives me an opportunity to understand myself better. And if someone pushes my buttons, it tells me about myself.

I had dinner with a friend and his girlfriend. She brought her friend, Collins Thouy - The girl from the Blind Side. She asked me what my parents did for a living. I told her that they were both in education in one form or another. She literally didn't speak to me for the remainder of the dinner.
I was kinda dumbfounded and just enjoyed the dinner with my buddy and his gf. Needless to say, there wasn’t a follow up.
ETA: this was while we were in school at Ole Miss years before the movie came out.

Once way back in undergrad my girlfriend was friends with a guy who came from a wealthy family. He was a puss who thought himself erudite but i kicked his arse academically then told him how obvious his insecurities were. He toned down his snobbery around me after that.

Several times standing on the 1st tee. Just kept my mouth shut and waited to see their demeanor on the 18th green.
