No one overall favorite. In the US, Jackson Hole, WY; outside US, probably Switzerland.

Internationally, Garmisch Germany.
Stateside is harder to choose. So many amazing NP's. Probably Zion or Mt. Lassen.

Hard to say what was best, because different spots are awesome for totally different reasons. It's also influenced by how good of a time I had that had nothing to do with the spot.
I loved Versailles because my wife and I went off season and the palace was closed. So we had the gardens to ourselves and spent an afternoon in perfect weather drinking wine at a Cafe without a care in the world. I loved west beach Gulf Shores because it was all condos and private beach, and my wife's entire family was there and it was just really good quality time. Big Sky was a great time with a big group of friends skiing and partying for a week. Hawaii was beautiful.

Based upon what criteria?
I´ve enjoyed many vacations. Some not so great ones, as well.

No we went with Idaho River Journeys. We saw Mackay every day though. IRJ was an awesome outfit and I can’t say enough good things about them.
