I really enjoyed Edinburgh, Scotland

Played golf, toured the city, saw a bunch of castles...great food and Scotch Whiskey

Not as expensive as one would think as well

Depends on the vacation objective. Cape San Blas is nice if you want to relax and don’t need outsiders to entertain. Combo of the bay and gulf have always been a favorite of mine. Especially during scallop season, if you enjoy fishing. Raw bar and appalachicola are interesting dining experiences with just enough shopping opportunities for the women, too. Fairly priced also.

California wine country was probably my favorite.

ETA: I love the losers who downvote anything that has to do with California

Totally depends on the kind of vacation I'm looking for. There is a big difference between NYC and my favorite ranch in MT.

Aruba for a totally relaxing vacation. Like do nothing but sit in the Cabana and drink vacations. Then get in the water for a while then take a nap

For several years the wife and I would rent a little cabin up in Mentone, AL for our anniversary. It’s not flashy, it’s barely got a tiny little town a few miles away. But it was the perfect little vacation spot for two. We’d take some groceries, mostly stuff for me to grill, some old movies we both like to watch at night maybe. That place is pure heaven.
