The more interesting question is, what were you very good at the first time you tried it? Just a natural.
My answer would be throwing, catching, hitting a ball. It just all came natural to me.

I taught myself drum kit by listening to music and replicating what I heard. The theory, sticking correctly, rudiments and development came after I could play competently in front of people.
