Big contractors like Turner and Performance are laying off scaffold builders and lower skilled guys for turnarounds that are postponed.

I’m a self employed consultant/advisor. My customers who demand I’m there short notice for ten years now refuse to see me or allow me to be on premise right now. They all say “ we will get that done when this is over”. Such is life .Smile, improve yourself, forge on.

Sorry to hear the gay porn industry is getting hit by this as well. Thoughts and prayers to you.

I visited a construction site in Lafayette this afternoon and was shocked to see how deplorable the entire site was. Trim carpenters and laborers working on top of one another not practicing social distancing—smoking cigs, drinking energy drinks and even at one point saw two start play wrestling one another.

GC’s and PM’s need to educate your workers the severity of this virus.

Lawyer. Most of our staff and attorneys work on an hourly contract basis. Really sucks for them and all of us. There's only so much crisis law work we can drum up.

Way more than that. Several clients have cut maintenance crews by more than half.

Right. That was my point. With few people and businesses doing deals right now and the courts and ADR closed there's only so much we can do. There's definitely a lot of work to be done navigating this stuff but vultures are all pecking at the same roadkill. Hard to support a whole team on that.

Similar, Marketing Consulting... if my clients haven’t been shut down, there is little to no demand currently. On the prowl for essential business clients now I reckon.

What are you doing in the meantime?
