My F150's OEM battery lasted 12 years, replaced it with an Duralast Gold that lasted 3 years, now has a Deka AGM. My Ranger has a Duralast Gold that is 4 years old and still going strong, my work truck has the OEM Motorcraft silver calcium battery that is 5+ years old. If I don't plan to drive a vehicle for more than a few days then it goes on a trickle charger. I've had AGM and regular lead-acid batteries spend months on trickle chargers and it definitely keeps them healthy between seasons.

2-3 years. Except on new dodge Rams, they seem to last less than a year

I have never seen a battery sold with a” blanket “ three or five year warranty. They are always pro-rated warranties. Meaning that if you buy a 36 month battery and it craps out at 24 months, they will refund a third of your purchase price. ( 12 months worth ).

I get mine at OReilys Auto Parts. I’ve always just brought the dead battery I originally paid for in and gotten a brand new one installed and not paid a penny out of pocket cause it was under warranty.

Well I’m going to check them out next time I need a battery. Seems like I always just get 7 or 8 bucks credit.

Wal-Mart Everstart Maxx battery has a 5 year warranty and cost less than $100. The one in my Tundra is 7 years old.
