My wife's (no pics) 2012 Venza is still on the original battery after 5 years and almost 8 months. I think I will have it replaced in the next few months. I don't want her stranded somewhere. It is already the longest lasting original battery I have ever had. My others have probably averaged about 4 to 5 years.

Why do batteries cost so much more than in the recent past?
$100+ for the cheapest???

FTR, I average about 3 -4 years on a battery in a vehicles.

Battery changed, $159, Auto Zone Gold series, 5 year warranty...

I think car manufacturers make that shite a pain in the arse to change so the average person will bring it in..

Both my vehicles are 2013s. The original batteries both died in the same month this year.

Battery should last 5-7 years if a quality battery
