So-called “community activists” like Gary Chambers and Silky Slim sow the seeds of racial disharmony at every turn. The mayor’s administration puts out a report blaming white privilege for a multitude of Baton Rouge’s problems. The same report implied that everyone who supports the St. George effort is a racist. Do you blame white people for being fed up with this crap?

She also brags about being on welfare and stealing others tax dollars to support her kids. Not a subtle brag, she actually had a meme to brag.

It's the exact same concept, those two just happened to have available land North & East of City.

St. George is all about getting away from inept leadership, terrible public schools and high crime areas. Unfortunately, the area available isn't very far away regardless.

No idea how she has custody of her kids. Everyone that knows the father said he is a legit good guy.

I dont think she even knows what to be mad anymore. She looked into the St George topic and thought it was a good idea until her people told her it is racist. Now its frick all the people of BR. Anything thats on her page that is slightly coherent is just her regurgitating someone elses thoughts.

Any original thought from her is just a bunch of mumbo jumbo

Its sad but she comes off as someone that would injure or even kill her kids

Not really. Not at all. Madison and Brandon are better compared with Denham and Prairieville.

Only one of those may even be accomplished. And that’s after the municipality is formed.

I really do not care what other people who do not live in the area think. This is my little FU to the city parish DPW not picking up my garbage by signing the petition.
I do not care what kibbles, helmet head, or the whole Gravy boat circus has to say. If they do not live here then shut up and move on.

AT this point, I'd so anything opposite of their "beliefs". If the 3 of them said that LSU football was a must-do. I would just start following some Div III program or something.

BR people: OMG our public schools are integrating let’s leave the schools (destroys public schools creating segregationist “private” schools)

Same BR people: I shouldn’t have to pay for my white school, taxes should cover it. Let’s leave the city (they fail, but then divert all tax dollars to their development divesting from other areas destroying the majority black schools and communities)

Same BR people: if they want to use our tax dollars for “black issues” and not get rid of the Mayor like we want we’re just going to leave the city (there’s a common thread here in regards to schools and communities, but it ISNT education or community development)

It's kind of amazing to point to the people who pay the majority of taxes, and pay out of pocket to send their kid to private schools, which gives more money per student to those using public schooling as the problem.

And, it's people like you that are exactly why St. George is a thing.

You want to bring up race. Fine. I guess that's inevitable. I'll point out that the failure of blacks isn't because of their skin or their DNA. It's because poverty breeds poverty. And, government that is controlled by the votes of the poor is doomed to fail. And, that's what Baton Rouge is...or is heading towards. The only hope for Baton Rouge is the people of St. George. Yet, people like you have decided that you know better. You don't. And, you'll pay the consequences of that hubris.

Black poverty is mostly due to single parent homes. It's not hard to not be poor in the US. Graduate high school, get a job, don't have children until you get married.

You know based on the proposal that the city parish will still be responsible for trash pickup in the St. George area.

"They’re using OUR tax dollars to build themselves a whole new city. Refusing to renovate or build schools in other areas, letting infrastructure suffer, divesting from everyone else. All for BR to get left in the dust. frick them and their selfish greedy plans. We see them."

Greedy and selfish, eh? Stealing your tax dollars eh? What tax dollars? And that is the biggest bunch of misinformed shite I have ever read. Good luck on your pseudo webpage. Get a babysitter and go get a real, big girl job. Go wait tables. Go move furniture. Go work at a plant nursery. That's how one contributes. No one wants to fund you for sitting at home all day and making web pages. Deeadbeat...you and your Facebook friends.

Hey OP, this isn’t about race, whether you believe it or not. As a former EBR teacher, this is about people wanting better for their kids then forcing them to go to the same school as children who would rather tell a teacher to suck their dick than actually learn something. Teachers are forced to teach to the middle. Just imagine how low that middle is when the majority of kids don’t want to learn. Imagine how high it can be when every kid wants to learn. That’s what makes a good school or bad.

Now if the kids that don’t want to learn are of a certain race, that is that races problem. I’m gonna put my kid in the best school possible with the best possible peers. Peers that are there to learn. Race is irrelevant to me.

No problem for me, because mine don't go to government funded schools.

But who's going to produce for you when you're old? Robots?
