I place a Baby Ruth in the pool to watch the reactions to it's floating turd appearance.

With this crowd, if pocket pool is not #1, you are lying.

I lounge around watching the neighbor moms trying to look 25 again. Then I’ll hop in every once in a while to cool off and throw the kids or play catch. Then I walk away from them, pee, and get back to my beer

We have a decent size pool. I take about 4-5 hours every week to tend to the thing and haven’t been in that thing in probably 3 years.

To me, there’s nothing on earth more boring than laying around by the pool or being in the pool. Just looking at the thing makes me angry these days, since it never gets used enough by the wife and kids to justify what we paid for it. Biggest waste of space and money in my lifetime.

My ADD makes the pool/beach pretty intolerable after about 10 mins. While i like swimming laps, its slow and boring. Surf fishing used to make the beach somewhat tolerable.

I love slow and boring these days. Maybe it's a generational thing, but I cannot stand being "busy" 24/7. I think I'm just tired from raising kids, and chilling in my pool (without my stupid phone) is one of life's most relaxing things. Give me my book, a floaty, and a drink, and I'm happy as can be.

I swim 1200 yards every other day, but when I’m enjoying the pool it’s on the “tanning ledge” under the umbrella. Or else getting worn out by grandkids wanting me to throw them.

Severly overrated.

Shower too! The best is a carpeted floor; it gives the best feel as the only cush is from her rear.

I’m the type that when I’m hot I jump in there to cool off and then I get out when I’m ready

A lounger mainly but it’s also my main source of exercise from May to September. I tread water for an hour 4 times a week.

When my kids were younger it was like going to gym. Wrestling, chasing each other, throwing the football, etc.

Now that they’re older it’s relaxation time. Both are great.

Multiple short dips in the pool but not usually in for long, sometimes a floater and sometimes an exerciser.

I dont have a pool and never will.

I live in the country with an innumerable amount of hardwoods. Keeping one clean would be a monumental task.
And if I want to swim, I'd rather take the boat on Lake Texoma, anchor up at a sand beach and chill.

I also don't understand resort pools. Everyone standing in waist deep water, drinking and pissing all over themselves.

Getting hammered and tanned while cleaning with Yacht Rock as my soundtrack.
