What serious thing would you do if you won the Powerball?

Yeah, this is the OT, but try to give a serious response in this thread.
I think I would donate enough to LSU to ensure myself a faculty position in which I could supervise graduate students in my field, but not have to teach too many classes. I would get bored not having a job at all and would still want to contribute to the field I'm in.

While I agree that not having a job at all would be boring, the rest of what you said sounds even more boring

I would buy a ski out chalet in the best school district I could find and a nice beach condo on the gulf. A decent RV and invest the rest. Live off of dividends and leave the rest to my kids. Don't think I would donate to any charities as most are not legit. Might help out a few people along the way though....

I've enjoyed supervising students in my clinical practice so far. These aren't your average idiot students, they've already progressed beyond that point to be the cream of the crop.

I have an older dog myself. I would do everything within my power to give her the best life she can have while she is still with me. I would do this whether or not I won the Powerball.
