Always do the first appointment of the day.

I like to pick a time mid-late afternoon so I can just go home after instead of back to work.

But what if the dentist still has eye crusties that early in the morning and botches the job cos he or she can't see well?

The beauty of working from home is I get to go home no matter when I make the appointment. I like to be first because less wait time.

That's a good point, but I'd hope my dentist is capable of wiping his eye crudites or I don't want him near my mouth.

Even though the OP was meant to be a DavidtheGnome inspired shitredditpost, I have learned to appreciate Dentists that are fully booked. It means they're good.
