Well, I grabbed 2 beefsteak tomatoes off the shelf at the store yesterday not paying attention to the posted price because.. it's tomatoes.
$4.22 before tax.
And then my mother called me not 5 minutes later to ask if she can come over today to unload tons of tomatoes on me because her garden is out of control.

I’m a good tipper but I hate with a fiery passion tipping some pos before I’m even served. On a side note, where we get our haircut the lady swipes the card and she chooses the no tip option. I’m going to tip very well the next time.
The old "I'll tip you next time" scam. You are going to get a bowl cut with Rhudy's public hair clippers the next time you go in.

How about cereal? My wife eats Cheerios like it’s another food group. $8.50 a box around here.

It’s insane. A local restaurant bar with good food and happy hour specials has local Montana pints (and other microbrews) for $3.50 still 3-6pm.

A small container of raspberries are like $5 or $6 and they go bad in one day, I swear. The most ridiculously priced fruit.

Kids wanted some cereal at the store not long ago. No shite, the Malt-O Meal and the name brand were the exact same price. I couldn’t believe it.
I won’t eat at Subway on principle. EVERY sandwich shop is cheaper and has better sandwiches.
I absolutely refuse to buy Cokes unless they’re under $5/12 pack. I usually load up around major holidays.

M&Ms are ridiculously priced. A damn party sized bag is 13 bucks.

Concur.
When you spend above where you should be it’s hard to go back down after living a certain way for a long time i.e. lifestyle inflation. This dooms many families in the long term.

That's actually decent price bc I've seen others have to pay more.

Maybe three years ago I got one of these 12 packs for $25. I think they were $36 last year, and now they are $50.

Damn, this economy is for the birds!

Living in metroplex, I have to pay $40 to dump a couple yards of dirt and then they sell it to the next guy for $60.
Same with dumping trees. Most towns
Up north take trees/brush for free. DFW it’s $40 per truck load. Was $25 3-4 years ago.

There are videos on YouTube that will show you how to do a simple haircut. Kid's hair is usually messy from playing anyway and grows pretty quick so it is not the end of the world if you don't do a perfect job the first time.

I pretty much stopped drinking beer because of this. Unreal.

David’s heroes will get triggered as frick when he gets the bill to replace the blend door on his BMW air conditioner!

Once hair cuts went above 15 my wife started cutting it. It’s simple and looks identical and takes her 10 minutes.
Soda- once soda went above a 12 pack 3 dollars for the normal price I cut out soda. Save money and healthier. A win/win.

I don't drink beer much anymore, but is $7 for a pint at a brewery that outrageous? I do live in the NYC area, so maybe that accounts for my viewpoint.
