They did an amazing job of increasing their margins in a low cost consumer targeted area. Most folks dont budget the $2-$10 spends.

They did u a favor, quit buying trash

First thing I thought of is there must be a rash of illegal dumping in your area. Can't say that I blame them in this case.

The dealership wanted three hunded for the key and another 150 to program it. I had never lost a key so I did not know but I researched it. I bought one on Amazon for thirty bucks and it took under a minute to program it.

There are a lot of things like this. Your A/C guy is going to charge you $350 to replace a $20 part that takes 10 minutes. They can do it because there are so many people that either don't want to deal with the hassle or just assume that it's what it costs.

$7 pints at the brewery of the beer that brews it

This..

With no canning/bottling or distribution costs 2 beers plus tax + tip = 2 sixers from the grocery store.

I remember been stoked when micro breweries starting opening in the early 90's..I was thinking cheaper and fresher beers-and it was for a long time..

But $6/7 for a generic lager has limited my visits to the breweries.

No one item specifically. It’s just a little wild that I can’t remember a time that I’ve left Whole Foods without the bill being less than $100.

I’m not talking about groceries for the week. Of course that’s much higher. I just mean a one off run to grab a few things.

You're paying the storefront overhead.

Paper towels and name brand tortilla chips are ridiculously overpriced IMO, and have been for a long time.

I'm honestly surprised anyone would pay $55 for a man's haircut.

That and potato chips. Family size is what regular size used to be for Ruffles.

Snickers are 1/3 the size of what they used to be

Buy a Flipper and a fob off of Amazon. While you still can, some states have outlawed them.

Nothing, anything overpriced makes me spend my money elsewhere.

Bag of Cheetos cost me $3.05 the other day at a convenience store. That is complete BS and I am now on a Cheeto strike. I love Cheetos, but I am now on a hunger strike until they lower the price.

I feel like the price of most meat is still the same so I haven’t been that affected

Tires.

There is no goddamn reason it should cost me $1200 to put fricking tires on my truck.
