Staying out of certain threads and washing my hands thoroughly after reading others

I’m going to do my best to not be over 60 years old.

About 50-60 days of family self isolation supplies (including TP). Probably start working from home next week for the foreseeable future.

If you aren’t in the at-risk groups it basically amounts to not walking around with your head in the sand and stock up on ordinary day to day purchases in advance to avoid the situation where you need it and everyone has bought the stores out.
Because if that happens, all of the bitching in the world on the OT about how the hysteria is bullshite won’t suddenly get you what you need.
Biggest exception to the “ordinary purchases only” is possibly OTC decongestants (sans cough suppressant)
EDIT: And by stock up, I mean enough to last you the next month or so.
Not buying enough toilet paper to last you walking the entire Oregon Trail with dysentery.

Accepting that we may be stuck at home as a family for a while, so I’m mostly trying to ensure we have what we need not to go crazy if I’m forced to work from home AND my four kids’ schools get temporarily closed.

Based on my wife's panicked purchased, coronavirus apparently causes explosive diarrhea.

my 4 month old daughter had hand foot and mouth which my wife contracted a week ago and my son had the flu last weekend and just started to feel better yesterday. I drank a couple of beer every night and was fit as a fiddle so I think I am going to keep drinking a couple of beers every night to combat Coronavirus.
